Nathan Hemmens

Born in Boston, Raised in Maine, then I moved to New Orleans where I performed on Bourbon Street for 5 years. I moved to Los Angeles over a year ago. I have made some great connections out here and I am always looking for more... music lovers and artists alike. Currently I am the Entertainment Manager at a club called Howl @ the Moon in Universal City/Hollywood. I am there most nights of the week playing Piano, Drums and Bass. The show is amazing, I am with 4 other musicians, all playing different instuments combining, performance with comedy. It's a request bar so you can come hear the song you want, but you never know what's coming next! There is a great crowd and vibe making it a cool place to meet people. My goal in being out here is to make as big as one could get. I want my music to be on the top of every chart there is... It's only a matter of time... I have proven myself to thousands of crowds... Dancing, singing, playing different instuments, writing, producing....I have worked with many name acts, such as King Floyd(hit song Groove me), Marva Wright (amazing!) Tim Green (wrote horns for Sledgehammer), Tony Hall (on Dave Mathews album 2 years ago, plus bassist for Aaron Nevel, the Meters and Jewel) Chad Gilmore..One of my greatest friends and the best drummer I've ever heard... played with India Davenport, Bonnie Raitt, Styx, and toured with too many to name. I've been in the studio with Rob Cavallo, (green day, Rent sound track) I have spent time learning from these greats even if it was one little trick I noticed that they do, without being shown. I have now built a state of the art studio in my new home. I converted the garage and my basement in to a hit factory for great musicians and singers. You can also rehearse there. I will have examples of my new studio out soon. I have written hundreds of songs and performed a few hundred thousand covers... For the last 10 years I have been going nonstop at least 4 days a week.
