In January (2006), my friend Mason had the clever idea of having people write a comment on your page of what they would put on your tombstone. Here are three of my favorite responses to what people would put on mine:
Sean:
Here lies my wife, Kam
Here let her lie
Now she's at rest
And so am I for goodness sake
She thought it was the gas pedal
but really it was the brake...
Mason:
Here's lies Kam in all her glory,
she spent her days acting rather Whorey,
She drank KamiKazies, and sat in the front,
She was always a sweetheart, was Never a CUNT.
There, I'd carve that on your headstone.
Amie:
Here lies Kam.
Best hands on the planet and greatest heart ever known.
Always watched your back and was there for anything and anyone.
Always a peach never a bad apple.

MY TWIN MUNCHKINS NAPPING (12/13/06):

We had Billy Joel's "River of Dreams" CD playing when we went in for the c-section. When the surgery started, "All About Soul" was playing (that's "our song" -- see my old BLOG about our anniversary (thanks again, Sean and Doug)); as soon as the babies came out, "Lullabye" was playing; when the babies were being weighed and measured, "River of Dreams" was playing. It couldn't have been more perfect. By the way, for the first month or two of their lives, it was the only CD they slept too. Now they sleep fine without music.
