I'm a singer, saxophonist and occasional didgeridoo player. I currently sing with the Georgian folk choir Maspindzeli , award winning London Bulgarian Choir and seven piece vocal group Bulgakov, made up of members of the London Bulgarian Choir. The piece Waltz From Air is a composition of mine; here is a recording of its first performance, with Jonathan Stern in April 2007 at the Magpie's Nest in Islington.
Tsintsqaro is a multitrack recording I made (voices and didgeridoos) before I even knew it was a fragment of a Georgian folk song, hence the nonsense words. This is the song that introduced me to the wonderful world of Georgian folk music.
I have taken part in various free improvisation projects, one of which, For John Stevens , by The Gathering, is available on CD.
