The band was formed in october 2006. It was our heart-and-soul-guitar-hero Jukka Zenger who came up with the idea for the band. He had already made some songs to his desk drawer over the years, and wanted a medium to deliver those to the audience. The next logical step was to get a proper place for the creative work itself. It was only a month after we got the place, that we got evicted, the hooligans we are. The land lord was kind enough to arrange an another place for us within a couple days. That's where we set up our studio and that's where we made what you can hear on this site. Our musical influences vary from hardcore punk to lounge jazz, and from British rock to the Finnish counterpart. We have 5 quite different people in the band, and this diversity seems to contribute to our music well.
So far The Frantic Motion has two releases. First EP came out in 2007 spring and another collection of three songs called Therapeutic in autumn same year.
