About Me

I am a Christan man who loves the Lord.
Ex - Truck Driver, yes as of 04/03/07 I turned my Truck into Werner Enterprises.
My Granddaughters needed some help so we got off the road so we can be here for them 24/7
It will take some adjustments but we feel this is the right thing for us to do. So I guess I will be doing house and yard work for a while. . . So, drop in ! during the week, on some weekends I am back to driving a Motorcoach which I do enjoy much more than trucking so if in South Carolina,
watch for Excellence Charter or Green's Travel Coach ,
and now we have started a Babysitting Service in the Summerville, SC Area
Myspace Layouts
RA2 Travel - Cowboy Mall - YELLOWRIBBON SUPPORT
Need a babysitter?, Contact Christian Grandparents
I served in the military for 7 yrs, then I started my own business online so I could spend more time with my children and family. I was married for about 15 yrs and at least the first 7 yrs were great. At sometime after that my wife decided she had other interest, however I did not find out till after we were together for about 15 yrs. She left me a dear John letter telling me she had been with other people and had gone to a hotel with my sqad Sgt twice to make sure she was not interested in men. she had my children beg me to give her a divorce which I ended up doing. I thought I would never trust another woman again. Then a very special friend (Robyn) helped me understand that not all women were like this. Robyn and I were together for a short time. Then I meet the love of my life online in Dec of 92. After my Divorce was done I went to Boston to meet this special person for the first time. I stayed there for about a month and then We went back and got the rest of what was left of my stuff. After a yr we were married and it was the best thing that has ever happen to me. Then when my youngest daughter was 14 she decided the only way to get her mom to spend time with her was to move to KY, so we approved her to go live with her mom in KY. She now has 2 beautiful daughters. My wife is now the best part of my life and always will be. After our children moved out I started driving cross country and we enjoy our travels together throughout this great nation
06/07 I have a lot of great memories of my children.
sled riding, help my youngest son with his toy car before taking it for a ride, Tea parties, going to the lake and beaches, but my favorite was our bedtime routine
helping them clean up, tucking them in bed and reading a story for them, this is by far the best. . . I thought I would do this with my granddaughters, but my daughter has yet to bring them down for a visit.
So if we cant tuck our grandchildren in, we can still help others. . . so we are going to become foster parents.
There is a lot more to it then we had thought, but we are still going to do it. Our first step is to go to some training classes, so if anyone has done this, please write and tell us about it.
Debbie and I re-took our vows Sunday June 24th 2007 at the Baptist Church across from the Goose Creek High School, we are very happy that after all these yrs we are still with the person we most want to be with. I hope our love will always be this fresh and that we will always be each others best fiend.

Music:

Christian - David Hil Trio, Country, is there any other, Dolly and all the greats, however I do like the Pussy Cats

Movies:

I think the best was Grease, Dirty Dancing, Sleepless in Seattle, Look who is talking, O brother, Blue Lagoon

Television:

Gilmore girls, CSI, Star Trek,

Books:

Well my favorite of course is the BibleThe best rules to live by have been provided in
the best book around, The Bible
Ten Commandments
I am the Lord thy God Thou shalt have no other gods before me
Thou shalt not make for thyself an idol
Thou shalt not make wrongful use of the name of thy God
Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy
Honor thy Mother and Father
Thou shalt not murder
Thou shalt not commit adultery
Thou shalt not steal
Thou shalt not bear false witness
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house.
One extra rule we have come up with is
No angry or foul language or lies in our home

Heroes:

Christ, Our people in the Armed Services. most people in this country will never know what it really takes to protect our Freedoms, and this is why I think everyone should have to do at least one tour of duty protecting this country, and if you are not from this country you should have to do at least 2 tours of duty.
YELLOW RIBBON SUPPORT
I think those in school should be able to finish there school and then they could serve this great country
This is a story sent to me by my Cousin Rick Caldwell The smell of rain
At the end of this story, it gives you two options. I think you will figure out what option I chose.A cold March wind danced around the dead of night in Dallas as the doctor walked into the small hospital room of Diana Blessing. She was still groggy from surgery.
Her husband, David, held her hand as they braced themselves for the latest news.
That afternoon of March 10, 1991, complications had forced Diana, only 24-weeks pregnant, to undergo an emergency Cesarean to deliver couple's new daughter, Dana Lu Blessing.
At 12 inches long and weighing only one pound nine ounces, they already knew she was perilously premature.
Still, the doctor's soft words dropped like bombs.
"I don't think she's going to make it," he said, as kindly as he could. "There's only a 10-percent chance she will live through the night, and even then, if by some slim chance she does make it, her future could be a very cruel one"
Numb with disbelief, David and Diana listened as the doctor described the devastating problems Dana would likely face if she survived.
She would never walk, she would never talk, she would probably be blind, and she would certainly be prone to other catastrophic conditions from cerebral palsy to complete mental retardation, and on and on.
"No! No!" was all Diana could say.
She and David, with their 5-year-old son Dustin, had long dreamed of the day they would have a daughter to become a family of four.
Now, within a matter of hours, that dream was slipping away
But as those first days passed, a new agony set in for David and Diana. Because Dana's underdeveloped nervous system was essentially 'raw', the lightest kiss or caress only intensified her discomfort, so they couldn't even cradle their tiny baby girl against their chests to offer the strength of their love.
All they could do, as Dana struggled alone beneath the ultraviolet light in the tangle of tubes and wires, was to pray that God would stay close to their precious little girl.
There was never a moment when Dana suddenly grew stronger. But as the weeks went by, she did slowly gain an ounce of weight here and an ounce of strength there.
At last, when Dana turned two months old. her parents were able to hold her in their arms for the very first time.
And two months later, though doctors continued to gently but grimly warn that her chances of surviving, much less living any kind of normal life, were next to zero, Dana went home from the hospital, just as her mother had predicted.
Five years later, when Dana was a petite but feisty young girl with glittering gray eyes and an unquenchable zest for life.
She showed no signs whatsoever of any mental or physical impairment. Simply, she was everything a little girl can be and more. But that happy ending is far from the end of her story.
One blistering afternoon in the summer of 1996 near her home in Irving, Texas, Dana was sitting in her mother's lap in the bleachers of a local ball park where her brother Dustin's baseball team was practicing.
As always, Dana was chattering nonstop with her mother and several other adults sitting nearby when she suddenly fell silent. Hugging her arms across her chest, little Dana asked, "Do you smell that?"
Smelling the air and detecting the approach of a thunderstorm, Diana replied, "Yes, it smells like r ain."
Dana closed her eyes and again asked, "Do you smell that?"
Once again, her mother replied, "Yes, I think we're about to get wet. It smells like rain."
Still caught in the moment, Dana shook her head, patted her thin shoulders with her small hands and loudly announced, "No, it smells like Him.
It smells like God when you lay your head on His chest."
Tears blurred Diana's eyes as Dana happily hopped down to play with the other children.
BR Before the rains came, her daughter's words confirmed what Diana and all the members of the extended Blessing family had known, at least in their hearts, all along.
During those long days and nights of her first two months of her life, when her nerves were too sensitive for them to touch her, God was holding Dana on His chest and it is His loving scent that she remembers so well.
You now have 1 of 2 choices. You can either pass this on and let other people catch the chills like you did or you can delete this and act like it didn't touch your heart like it did mine.
IT'S YOUR CALL!
"I can do all things in Him who strengthens me."
This morning when the Lord opened a window to Heaven, He saw me, and He asked: "My child, what is your greatest wish for today?" I responded:
"Lord please, take care of the person who is reading this message, their family and their special friends. They deserve it and I love them very much" The love of God is like the ocean, you can see its beginning, but not its end.
ANGELS EXIST but some times, since they don't all have wings, we call them FRIENDS"
