STOVEPIPE

This profile was made in the memory of a Punk`n`Roll band, STOVEPIPE, a.k.a. The Turbogluecopters. After more than ten years of recording and touring, the band decided to take a longer break. “Maybe we will do some benefit shows in the future. Maybe we come back one day. We really enjoyed what we had, but we are really happy at this point being able to do some other things with other people. After all these years you get stuck in a certain pattern and one day you have to make the decission, if you wanne play the same old songs for the next thirty years or do something new.”

Today the four guys are pre-occupied with different stuff, both musical and non-musical. Singer E.A. Spoonelly is working hard to become a lawyer, hopefully to protect the poor and the derelicts. Guitarplayer Y-Z Doonelly is working for his graduation. He's also playing some live shows with "Sequoyah" and "Qubed". Drummer Mr. Pimp opened a musican store and is playing in a hand full projects. A.H. Fooler is the only member who changed from bass guitar to drums to keep it up as a punkrock musician. Now he is a drummer for "Snoerd".
