an artist working and living in Fife, Scotland, with a toe in Portugal (a quinta but it is up for sale just now!)...English born but raised on a tea estate in Sri Lanka...educated in South India (Hebron High School, Coonoor)...in Scotland for many years now... quite a green fingered soul who prefers working with her hands rather than her head....so ideally would like to settle living off the land .... My Interests

art (pastels and encaustic wax - see below!), poetry, singing, music, travel, green spaces, sand and sea, reading, alternative therapies (particularly Reiki)...

I'd like to meet:

other like minded people... weilding a painbrush... holding onto a muddy spade ... interested in keeping things green ... gripping a well travelled suitcase ....

Music:

various likes depending on mood.. Paul Simon's Graceland, Santana, Vivaldi, Iguana, Beatles, Blood Sweat and Tears, Tina Turner, Crosby Stills and Nash, James Reid, Jack Johnson, Tunng, Bob Marley, Beachboys, quiet stuff, loud stuff, and so on...

Movies:

Withnail & I, Clint Eastwood films, Blue Juice, lots but can't remember titles...

Television:

Don't go much for soaps but like a good documentary or play and get sucked into the living elsewhere ones!

Books:

varied choices at random on visit to libary... mostly just to read in bed as an aid to falling alseep... aaah!

Heroes:

I'm not really into hero worship but admire anyone who is working towards helping this planet to be a better place ...
