About Me

Noelle taught herself how to play guitar at age 20. By age 25 she was playing at the Lillith Fair with Sarah McLachlan and by age 28 she was opening for Bob Dylan. She writes real, emotive, beautiful songs that tell stories taken from her own life and all of the experiences within that life. She met her husband/guitar player, Andre Moran, fairly early on in her career and they realized right away that they had a sound that was huge and lush and set them apart from other songwriters. Their influences come from artists like U2, Radiohead, The Police, Tom Petty & Mark Knopfler and they blended all of that love for a big, beautiful sound with their own rootsy-rock. This combination has been a juicy delight to audiences all across the country. They have opened for Bob Dylan, Chris Isaak, Richard Thompson, John Hiatt, Wilco, Jewel, Pat Benatar, Sarah Mclachlan, Train, Joan Armatrading and more.CD’S: Noelle Hampton and Andre Moran have co-produced 3 CD’s, a full length CD “UNDER THESE SKIES”, an EP entitled “5 FOR THE ROAD” and a Christmas CD, “ JAZZ UP YOUR COUNTRY CHRISTMAS.” Currently they are working with Mark Hallman (ELIZA GILKYSON, ANI DIFRANCO) on their new CD at Congress House Studios in Austin,TX.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

My Blog

My First Blog

This is my first virgin blog. I have to admit (and those who know me know this already), that I live slightly in the dark ages when it comes to technology. I try, but I just can't totally get into it....
