Time Will Tell is the brain-child of Chris Bernier (Sacrarium, Twisted Fate) and Tonia Chandler (The Campbells), formed in late 2004. Chris and Tonia talked about starting a band together for years, but due to life's little hitches, it never seemed to solidify. With help from Jon Bernier (Mystic Dusk) the three of them were able to brainstorm and write a few tunes for a potential band project. Soon after, Chris called on the talents of his friend Tim Gayne (Twisted Fate, Arcolytes) and the band was able to create a healthy group of songs which they practiced about once a week. Chris then asked a friend named Lyla to sing some back ups on the project. About a few months later, Tonia, had become pregnant with her third child and had to leave the band. Lyla was asked to take over as singer in Tonia's absence.
At this point the band was practicing less then before, but the goals were still set-in-stone for Time Will Tell: Start and finish recording an album and start gigging. After a few more months of rehearsals, the band had to become more of a studio project due to schedule conflicts (That life thing again.)
In the Summer of 2006, TWT started looking for a bass player. Eddie Tardiff (Forgotten Massacre) responded to an ad that TWT had put up in the local music stores. The band accepted him into the group as bass player and the line up seemed to be a solid unit. The band started recording the first album 'Time Told' in 2006 and finished in 2007. The album is currently in final production and should be released soon.
In June of 2006 the band had the opportunity to fill a last minute slot for Eli Poulin and the Hitmen at Mainely Brews in Waterville. Unfortunately, Lyla was not available for the show. Tonia had already planned to come out to the show, and was asked last minute to sing. She sang the set and did a very good job.
In July of 2006 the band was invited to open for Kivel Records recording band Eden's Lie, but due to schedule conflicts the band wasn't able to make the cut.
In late 2006 Lyla had to inform the band that she was going to step down as Singer, as she is going to college now. She agreed to do any future studio stuff we may need her for but at this point the band is still singer-less and looking.
Currently, the band is recollecting and writing new material. Chris and Jon are in the process of charting out some of the new songs for a follow-up album to 'Time Told'. Also, Chris has stated that the band will be planning on finding a solid core of members to gig with in the spring of 2007.
