For years i quietly folded words into origami white elephants and birds. I kept them hidden between my teeth and my cheek. Every once in a while i rolled them around in my mouth. Every once in a while one slipped out. I used them as bookmarks and sharpened them into shanks. I stuck them into people and walked away. I used them like a disposable cameras. But misunderstood their function. Tossing the whole thing in the trash before I ever developed the images. My thoughts are like birds. Migratory yet indolent. narrow. ego-centric. absorbed. perusing leaf-litter and debris of consumed things. fearful of pedestrians. This is about me.
