About Me

Basically, I'm changing this site for info regarding the magazine, AfterFX, and coffeehouse, The Agora Cafe; which is why I don't think there is need for the musical bio stuff. Although a little background info should be included...
Started singing and playing saxophone in school in fourth grade / 10yrs old. At about 15, I started playing guitar, then bass and keyboards at 18 when I got a job at Ensoniq (which was right around the same time I got saved and accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour).... played for years in various bands, put out a number releases with a decent number of reviews and airplay, then in 1993 I started to publish a zine (In Touch for the first four issues which changed to Keeping in Touch Magazine or KiT'Zine and then AfterFX starting with issue #10) and in 1999, I started running The Agora Cafe as an outreach ministry featuring bands, sing songwriters, dancers, poets, etc. in Marketplace Community Church in Chesterbrook, PA.... been doing it ever since though the location has changed a few times.

My Interests

My family and friends, music (playing, recording, and performing) and art.... movies and PS2.... and reading too. I also publish a magazine called AfterFX.

I'd like to meet:

Whomever God allows into my path... i think that life becomes richer with the more people you meet.

Music:

I like a variety of syles ranging from acoustic folk to jazz to pop, rock, funk and metal. Grew up listening to Elvis and James Brown (parents) and then it was Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath, The Doors, ACDC... then it was Prince for a while, plus the 80 /90's guitar hero stuff (Joe Satriani, Vinnie Moore, Eric Johnson, Steve Vai, etc)... then it was Christian music for a few years (DC Talk, Newsboys, Skillet, etc) but lately I've been listening to Michael Knott, Moby, U2, and Think of 3.

Movies:

Star Wars, The Matrix, Robots, Lion King... sci-fi & the warm and fuzzy that make me think and make me cry.

Television:

don't watch tv much except for news and using it for PS2 and movies.

Books:

The Bible... and lately I've been reading books about Art and Christianity. And I'm wondering if audio books count too?

Heroes:

God, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit... that's about sums it up.
