I immediately regret this decision

About Me

I enjoy a glass of fine scotch, my leather-bound first editions of Foucault and Proust, and my vintage recordings of Wagner and Brahms. My purebred cocker spaniel, Hortense, is my indispensible ally, and a fine judge of character, to wit.

Music is the passion of my life. It gives me everything I need, a creative outlet, a livelyhood, and a bridge between people. Music is everything to me.

My Interests

I am interested in both the bass and electric guitars. It may sound trife, but a chief interest of mine is to have open discussions about music theory over a jigger of brandy. Generally, these discussions carry on late into the evening and lead to raised voices and poor motor skills. But I digress.

Subjects like human rights, ancient history, and the various conundrums of advanced quantum mechanics constitute the remainder of my waking thought. Every so often, I am distracted from my more scholarly intellectual pursuits by my hatred of shitty bands and my overwhelming fear of people with big beards. I mean, what are they hiding under there?
