NO DAMN PROBLEM - R.I.P. 2006

About Me

WE QUIT.
R.I.P. "THE LAST SKA/PUNK BAND."
After NDP broke up in 2006, Brandon and Greg played in The Sneaky Sea Lions , who broke up in 2009. Andrea played in Button , who is no longer a band. Bob played in End Of Story and then Sunrise Atlantic , who are no longer bands.
Currently, NJ is in S.O. and Andrea is doing solo stuff called Cat Shark . Thanks for the support, and even though we are long gone we still want you to continue supporting independent music. Check out this 12.22.2007 video of Whiskey Flask Revenge!
03.07.2006 - Hello everyone. We have some very important news to share with you. After a little over a year of rocking out in the New Jersey and Pennsylvania area, No Damn Problem is breaking up. Due to a wide variety of reasons, we think that it is best that we call it quits. We are still all good friends, and that is what is most important. We are simply all headed in different directions both musically and in life. But we ain't dead yet! We are very excited to be finishing out our five scheduled shows in the next month.
This SATURDAY 03.11.2006 we will be rocking out at SKAGASM in Trenton, NJ with our good buddies Whiskey Flask Revenge! The Saint Patrick's Day SHOW on FRIDAY 03.17.2006 is between venues right now but is still happening; more information about that will be posted later this week. SATURDAY 03.18.2006 we are playing a show in Syracuse, New York so that should rock. Right now, our FINAL SHOW WEEKEND is slotted for FRIDAY 04.07.2006 and SATURDAY 04.08.2006 at Rutgers (New Brunswick, NJ) and 208 House (Berlin, NJ). So whether you're in North Jersey or South Jersey, save those respective dates and be sure to come rock out for one last time! There are many other awesome shows on those days, but please take the time to hit up one of ours. We are very honored to be playing our final show on April 8th with our best friends Drive-Thru Pharmacy , Venereal Exchange , and Sparkle Motion , and two touring bands as well.
Lastly (and most importantly) we would like to give a big thank you to each and every one of you. To everyone who has ever come out to a show, sang along with us, danced and had fun, enjoyed our music, carpooled, set up a show, helped us record, taken pictures, given a high five, or anything else: thank you. The support you've given us has made the last year and some months amazing and it has meant the world to us. You're still going to see us after we break up; we'll all be in other bands or going to shows at some point in the near future. So come and say hello, hang out, and have fun. Even before the first practice we ever had, NDP has always been about one thing: Good friends having fun. And that hasn't changed. We hope to see you partying and going nuts at one of our shows in the next month. Thank you all.
Love, NJ, Brandon, Greg, Andrea, Rob Hazard, and the No Damn Problem Family.
BIOGRAPHY
No Damn Problem is a five-piece band hailing from the Armpit of America. After a long trek to form a new and exciting band, NDP started up in late 2004. NDP is a NEW JERSEY PIRATE-CORE band rising from the ashes of Pipe and Temporarily Brooksless. The rock began with NJ, Bob, Brandon, Greg, Coach Clint, and The Don over winter break 2004-2005. Days before their first show NDP welcomed trumpet player Rob Hazard to the band in February 2005. Recorded one song "All The Good Times" with this lineup in April 2005 at New Jersey City University. In May 2005 after playing seven successful local shows in New Jersey, guitarist Bob decided to leave the band on good terms to pursue other endeavors. With the help of Adam Thibault and Rude Squirrel Records, NDP recorded and mixed three additional songs for a future demo in the summer of 2005. That July, alto saxophonist The Don left the band to commit himself to his studies and work. And in August 2005 drummer Coach Clint left NDP to pursue a career in film. The two were dearly missed, but most importantly they remained close friends with the band. Also in August, Andrea stepped up to rock out on drums. We self-released our demo in September 2005 and continued playing shows with this line-up and many other outrageous guests. We had a college radio interview at Montclair State University with our boy Matt Keats (DJ Thunder Beats) in October 2005. We kept playing shows with really awesome bands in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York until we broke up on April 8, 2006 in Berlin, NJ. For the little more than a year that we were together we played thirty-three shows in which we dressed up as pirates, had ridiculous props, acted really homoerotic, were wild as hell, and had more fun than a barrel of monkeys while doing so. Through its short life No Damn Problem went through a lot but when it came down to it, it was always about the same thing: good friends playing music they love.
