I am currently working with a very gifted singer and songwriter named:
Nic Koray. We did some gigs this year with the whole Band and some acoustic gigs with upright bass and guitars, and it is real fun to play these songs.

I am doing quite a lot of teaching.
So if you want to play like John Scofield or Bill Frisell, if you want to improve your metal chops, or if you are trying to write songs, call me and we will see what is going to make you, improve yourself.
my styles are ranging from Punk, to Metal to Jazz.
And to get things happening in our smalltown I had the idea to start a Newcomer Festival were my students could perform with there Bands 1st time ever.
For 2008 there is a bigger Newcomer Festival planned. Getting things a bit more professional.
So check things out and step by occasionnally for what is happening in the northern Part of "Ruhrgebiet"

terra incognita - musical photographies -
it all started with a trip to the algerian sahara a few years ago. I always wanted to make a journey to some oasis, like djanet or mides, to get a feeling what desert and life under these more difficult conditions is all about.
(sounds strange in a way, i know).
However we didn..t have much money so we ended up driving with cars, a mixture between a taxi and a bus. We were packed like sardines, windows open and no one in this vehicule was saying a word. You were looking out of the window and the longer our trip took the higher the dunes became.
For a long time in advance i questioned myself, if a desert might be boring, because of the fact that "there is not very much". But however it is in a way like New York. You can say " oh yeah i know these sky-scrapers, they are all the same ", but that is not true, and so the landscape of the sahara keeps constantly changing, and in addition to that you can have this special feeling for wideness.

in a guesthouse i met some musicians practising for a wedding, and i was caught by their conception of rhythm and there approach to harmonic minor.
travelling further, i thought that it would be a nice idea, to compose something like musical photographies. my personal view on things caught in the medium of a composition.
