About Me

Sister Grace is an all-female group with a purpose of spreading God's word through music and song. Our music is a mixture of Gospel, Contemporary Christian, and country and includes originals as well as cover songs. Our first CD has just been released! It was produced by legendary producer Johnny Sandlin (producer of the Allman Brothers, among many other credits to his name) and some awesome Muscle Shoals musicians... David Hood on Bass, Kevin McKendree on keyboards, Kelvin Holly on guitar, Brian Owings and Lynn Williams on drums and Sound Engineers, Jeremy Stephens and Jeff Coppage.

Influences: Influences are varied and include old time gospel groups...we all grew up in the deep South singing in church...contemporary Christian singers such as Sara Groves, Point of Grace as well as artists such as Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris, Linda Rhondstat, Anne Murray, Mavis Staples, Eva Cassidy, and Anita Baker.
Sounds Like: A mixture of Point of Grace, The Staple Singers, and a female version of the Statler Brothers with strong vocal harmonies and an emphasis on words in their original tunes.
