About Me

I like simple things that make me smile. Things like finding Hiro cake in mama shops, smelling vanilla things and listening to songs that bring me back to different times of my life. I like to love and I do so without reserve. I am lucky to have that love returned by my family and friends. I am a short and clumsy person. I have many more things to learn about. But that's ok. I think I have time. :) I love my coffees and my teas. One of each everyday makes me smile. As do elephants. I want to go to India and any form of donation to Lisa's India Fund will be much appreciated. heh.

My Interests

I like to read, watch movies and listen to music. I am interested in people, the way they work and the various kinds. I like to cycle but haven't the time. And I like making things.

Music:

I like all kinds with the exception of Country, Trance, Techno and House. Nirvana is my all-time favorite. I love the Foo Fighters and I listen to them everyday. I also love the Smashing Pumpkins. But I don't listen to them everyday. I like smooth, rich and chocolately voices. I like hip hop and r&b, soul and rock. Music is essential.

Life is Beautiful, Legends of the Fall, Chocolat, Sweet November, A Walk to Remember, The Green Mile, Matrix, X Men, Chicago, Moulin Rouge, LOTR, Requiem for a Dream, Trainspotting, Amelie, 21 Grams, Garden State, Batman, Edward Scissorhands, Fight Club, the list goes on.

Television:

F.R.I.E.N.D.S., The Simpsons, CSI, Dharma and Greg, Whose Line, The Drew Carey Show, SpongeBob'sSquarePants, Cow and Chicken. My ALL-TIME favorite channel is Discovery Travel & Living. I would like to work there.

Books:

Literature is my Utopia. Here I am not disenfranchised. No barrier of the sense shuts me out from the sweet, gracious discourse of my book friends. They talk to me without embarrassment or awkwardness. I have too many favourites to list.
