About Me

The Left Field is here to reaffirm the spirit of political debate among festival goers, promoting the value of trade union membership and collective campaigning. Music can make a difference!

You can find us right opposite the meeting point. You can't miss us! The huge Left Field tower built for us by apprentices from the Appledore shipyard sits at the entrance to the Left Field.

The Left Field is run by Battersea & Wandsworth Trade Unions Council and a bunch of campaigners, volunteers and music nuts from South London and beyond.

I'd like to meet:

Everybody's welcome at the Left Field. Our doors are open to you, whoever you are and whatever motivates you. We stand for freedom of speech, freedom of expression and freedom from any form of repression. If you beat the scrum for Glasto tickets come in and join us for a Che Guevara cocktail during happy hour and soak up a bit of politics.
