Once Upon a Time the Light through the Trees

I've sung, written, composed, arranged, performed, recorded, produced and mixed this album together in a small dusty home recording studio and a little mic closed in an empty room not so far from home between september 2004 and february 2005 with acoustic old folk classic electric and slide guitars, flute, harmonica, electric piano, organ, various percussions like snares, timpanoes, wooden boxes and metal bottles, electronics. Self released on july 2005. All lyrics, All songs by The Child of A Creek. Front and back cover Art by The Child of A Creek. Artworks are handmade and printed on old rough yellow paper.

...Once Upon a Time the Light through the Trees has really nothing to envy to professional recordings in none of its tracks, songs don't lose their way home and remind of folk old decades... comediscos.com august 2006 [spain]

Once Upon a Time the Light through the Trees sounds old fashioned; it reminds of nature, light, trees, scents, open lands and airy overspreaded atmospheres. To take a listen to this record is like read a set storybook down inside a castle been spellbounded through the wood where the soundtrack is owned by The Child Of A Creek... coolclub.it july 2006

...as a well known folksinger's homework the beginning to come expanding and reverbering through vocal distorsive games and electric pianos that never contest any acoustic guitar's supremacy of and mostly, never forgetting home roads and directions. Add a characterical scent of fables to come observing its final suggestive ways. A Great Work really... rockit.it march 2006

...it's a bunch of delicious wild berries, picked and tasted with pleasure... blow up magazine n°90 november 2005
