i was born in chile. that's where i grew up. i started playing the drums when i was 14 years old. my first band was an alice in chains-cover-band. i also had a band with my brother called verboten. i would really like to hear those songs again. i don't have the recordings anymore. 2001 i moved to germany. since then i have been playing in different bands. one of them was cambios. we played together between 2003 and 2005. in that time we recorded an album called 1. "love baby" and "welcome to the show" are from that album. 2005 i had the nice experience of being in california at cal state long beach. that was when cambios broke up. 2006 i was back in bremen (germany) to finish my music studies. "bist du wie ich" is from my actual band called james lars & the sexual chocolate. everybody is dancing non-stop in our shows with our power-electro-hiphop style. the band is on my space. you can also find us at www.jameslars.de. "by now" was recorded last year. uwe ask me to record the drum parts of some songs for his solo proyect. "felicidade" and "drume negrita" are standards from the latin american music interpretet by the columbian singer johanna vargas. we recorded these tracks one month ago.
