Pool, poker, solving complex logical puzzles, skateboarding, hunting, enjoying time with my good friends and their pets and hiking into the mountains to go eagle watching. And off course, MUSIC!!!
Good-natured women and men who think for themselves and don't go out of their way to cause drama and nonsense.
Oh, man where do I even start? Music has been my passion since I was a kid and it is a dream come true to be working in a field like this. My albums cover a wide spectrum and I enjoy artists who do their own thing, rather than just copying other people, meaning you won't find Creed or Nickleback in my stereo. Here's my TOP 10--1. Aerosmith 2. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds 3. Led Zeppelin 4. Miles Davis 5. Funkadelic/Parliament 6. Johnny Cash 7. At the Drive-In 8. The Mass 9. PJ Harvey 10. Monster MagnetHere's a list of music I really like--Refused, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Motorhead, Ornette Coleman, John Coltrane, Iggy Pop and the Stooges, Porch Ghouls, Rancid, The Saints, INXS, Midnight Oil, Rolling Stones, Floor, The Mars Volta, King Crimson, Captain Beefheart, Frank Zappa, Kyuss, Eagles of Death Metal, Pantera, Metallica, Megadeth, Johnny Legend, Otis Redding, The Donnas, New Order, Deftones, Soulfly, M.I.A., AFI, The Melvins, Screaming Trees, Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Sonic Youth, U2, Porcupine Tree, Cult of Luna, Neurosis, Red Sparrowes, The Doors, Kid Rock, The Darkness, Queen, The White Stripes, The Roots, Pharcyde, Ice-T and Body Count, N.W.A., Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie/White Zombie, ZZ Top, Ministry, Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards, Cephalic Carnage, AC/DC, Slayer, The Perceptionists, Entombed, The Hellacopters, Meshuggah, The Detroit Cobras, The Dirtbombs, The Strokes, Robert Johnson, T-Model Ford, etc. My list could go on, but you get the idea. If they are doing their own thing or taking some of their inspirations and putting their own stamp on things and in the process, creating something moving and/or original, I'll give it a listen.

Anything by Hunter S. Thompson. Stephen King's books still amaze me and the new books, especially the final chapters in the DARK TOWER series are nothing short of amazing. In the hands of the right director, these would make a great series of movies. George Carlin's books are funny as hell and I also read Batman comic books and graphic novels--there is some great storytelling here.
I have 3 and then a generalization. My first one is Joe Perry from Aerosmith, who while not only being the guitar player for one of the best bands in the world, has done with a style and sass, that any up-and-comers should learn a thing or two from. Plus, he's a gentleman in person. My second one is Batman and although I am aware he is a comic book character, he stands for true justice and goodwill. Anyone who thinks comic books are just for kids, needs to do a second take. There is some great storytelling here that is unmatched. My third one is my best friend. I'm not going to mention her name, but she is one of the strongest people I know. She has been through a lot of crap in her life that would weaken other people in the knees and that's one of the reasons I love her. She's as stubborn as a mule, just like me, but she's always great to be around, just like me.Anybody who brings some good and joy in the world is also tops in my book and they come from all walks of life and they do it without any fanfare, basically people who, in general, like to have a good time and not bog things down with unneccessary bullshit and who don't go out of their way to screw people over and people who tend to develop their own thoughts on life instead of following the crowd.
