Kasia Wilk...
a volcano of energy on the stage as well as in her private life. She comes from Lubin, but since a couple of years she's been living in Poznan. Lately, however, it's very difficult to find her there, because almost every day she gives concerts throughoght Poland and even abroad. Since her early years she was taught to play the guitar. She took part in many vocal workshops, and she grauaded Post-secondary College of Singing in Poznan.
She's been singing not a single kind of music and performed with not just one band, e.g., Dreamland from Poznan. Together with the band Kto To, and thanks to the song "Gdy minie sen" ("When the dream passes away"), she won 2nd place in Debut category on The Festival of Polish Songs in Opole. Similarly there and once again 2nd place she won in Premiere catgory together with Mezo, a rapper from Poznan. It was thanks to the song "Wazne" ("Important") which became totally an unquestioned Polish hit of 2005.
Currently, Kasia and Mezo give concerts promoting their newest record "Eudaimonia". Apart from that, she occasionally performs in Adam Sztaba's orchestra and in Kayah's choir. What is important, in the meantime Kasia is working on her first solo album. Until this moment, though, nothing more can be said about it...
