Roland Price grew up in Columbus, Ohio and from the day he was born has been surrounded by music. As he grew up his dad introduced him to such greats as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and so forth. Never knowing what exactly what it all meant he just kept listening. As he started getting deeper and deeper into what he was listening he one day went for the closet and picked his father's 1953 Gibson custom electric and started to play. After being shown a few chords he started to play and play and play. Finally after a few months he got his own les paul then shortly there after bought his first acoustic not knowing that this would become his life. Moving into high school Roland started playing in various bands doing the hard rock scene and then moving into a duo that would forever shape the way he would continue to play. Roland Price and Kat Seaman became a powerful acoustic duo that started playing out across Columbus, only 1 week form meeting. After the 2 split he had started to realize his sound in acoustic music and various odd tunings in which he could compose music that was slightly different than anything being played on the radio at that time. Then follwing his graduation he decided to keep pursuing music as he then moved to Orlando, Florida. He kept on writing and making music when he shortly decided to move back to Ohio. The months to come would shape him for what would be the biggest step of his career. In January of 2005 he picked up and made the move to Nashville, Tennessee. He started music school while he kept playing in various bands, and after pursuing a career in engineering he kept writing. Now in late 2007 Roland is getting his writing together and running sound at local venues while co-writing music with the talented Sunny Schartau. As he continues to shape his sound only more music will start to come so stay tuned as we watch this new young talent develop.
