Tom LoSchiavo was born in the beautiful Midwestern town of Pataskala, Ohio. Growing up his father played in a popular small town band called The Willy's Boys, and they often played in the local street festival when Tom was just a little guy. It was during this time that Tom became enamored with the sounds of Neil Young, Paul Simon, The Beatles, and Tom Petty. In 8th grade while everyone was listening to Korn, Limp Bizkit, and Slipknot, Tom held tight to his roots listening to Harvest from Neil Young and Band on the Run from Paul McCartney & Wings.
He then began to diligently learn and play guitar with his younger brother. In high school Tom started a cover band called Lyon Eyes. He also ventured into the musical theatre world where he won leading roles in popular musicals such as Oklahoma and Hello Dolly. Those experiences inspired him to pursue a degree in musical theatre from Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio.
After obtaining his acting degree, Tom packed up and made the move to New York where he began the hustle of auditioning. As a result, he landed an extra role in a Bon Jovi music video as well as several roles on As the World Turns. During his time of auditioning, Tom could not let go of his desire to write his own songs and make a record. So he inevitably began to focus and dedicate himself to making music. Since moving here three years ago, Tom has been playing at many of the best live music clubs in New York City. He is currently working on an EP and a music video. PRESS:"Tom LoSchiavo, NYC, opened the show, taking you on a rollercoaster ride with every well crafted song he sang. Soaring falsetto and dynamics reminsient of Jeff Buckley and Roy Orbison demanded the listeners attention in such a way you could hear a pin drop. Every song was filled with so much heart and confidence, age barriors were no obstacle for this young artist to communicate through music. LoSchiavo is versatile enough to appeal to country fans, yet progessive enough for todays ever changing market."
