About Me

Swagger rocks out, melts faces, and entertains audiences. Those who witness live Swagger receive a hefty dose of Rock Nâ€™ Roll to shake their soul. Swagger is finishing up their first studio project with Grammy nominated producer John Custer who has produced music for Cry of Love, Dag, Corrosion of Conformity, Warren Haynes, and James Hetfield just to name a few. We are very excited about getting these tracks loaded onto myspace, but we need to finish mixing and mastering first...so be patient. Look for press and the CD release in the coming 2-3 months.
In 2007 Swagger was a finalist out of a field of over 100 bands in the Vision Promotional Services Battle of the Bands. Later in 2007 Swagger took home the gold in the Vision Promotional Services Battle at the Berkeley, landing them an opening slot for a national act at The Lincoln Theatre in Summer 2008. The energetic and blatantly kick-ass performances of unique rockin tunes are the reason why Swagger fans keep coming back for more. So, if you like rock-n-roll, do yourself a favor and check out a Swagger show. If you don't like what you hear, tell one of the band members. They just might buy you a shot then remind you of your poor taste in music.
Swagger roots reside in the classic and southern rock tradition with pop sensibilities. Listening to Swagger tunes is known to result in catchy melodies and wailing guitar riffs stuck in your head. Dallas Perryâ€™s powerful vocal melodies exude soul...singing with a reckless abandon rarely seen in the flesh. The guitar driven sound is distinctive and filled with tone for all you tone junkies out there. Swagger realizes that to honestly pursue rock nâ€™ roll they have to give away every ounce of energy they can muster every night, the penetrating truth of rock nâ€™ roll.
Based in Raleigh, Swagger currently plays shows across the southeast and is constantly expanding their fan base. Swagger travels to new places and change the environment. Beforehand, its like everyday life. People milling around doing their thing and whatnot. After the show...a disaster zone of rock inspired glory. A beautiful thing, for sure.
So grab a beer, sit back, relax, and let the music do its thing.
