I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

~I am not 2 dimensional.
~There is a person behind the pictures.
~Since there is no accurate way to describe myself to the masses, I’ll try it this way...
~Let's start with a handshake. Seems appropriate, right? If we come across each other in the real world and I go to shake your hand, you will receive a look of irritated puzzlement if you grab the tips of my fingers and proceed wiggle my hand. I am NOT a lady in waiting, and I wish not to be treated like one. I'm not a flower, you aren't going to hurt me. Shake my hand like you mean it. Or I will call you a pansy to your face. Your friends will laugh and you will be embarrassed. So let's save face and do it right. Thank you for your time.
~I am told that I have 18 Charisma. If you know what that means, then you are a g33k too.
~I love to laugh. (Ahahaha!)
~Metalocalypse is the most awesome cartoon on the air right now.
~My favorite designer is Betsy Johnson.
~I hate shopping.
~I am 5'1". I'm bite sized when it comes to height. So if you see me in public don't go "Wow. I thought you'd be taller." You have been forewarned.
~Tucker Max is a god among men (tuckermax.com), if you don't agree, I don't want to talk to you.
~Just a little food for your brain to munch on~~~Y-O-U-R shows ownership: "Your hamster." Y-O-U-'-R-E means "You Are": "You're a hamster." T-O shows direction: "I'm going to get a hamster." T-O-O means also as well as stresses amounts: "I'm getting a hamster, too" & "There are too many hamsters." T-W-O is a number. I hope there is no need for an example. Please take these things into consideration. I realize that you probably didn't come here looking for an English lesson, but it is a part of me and if you want to get to know me you must come to grips with the fact that I am obsessive about English...and hamsters, apparently.
~You are cooler than me, guaranteed.
~I love Tara McPherson. Google her.
~People often take advantage of my generosity and compassion. But this doesn't stop me from being either.
~I totally dig it when people draw me.
~I know what is best for me even if I don't always follow through.
~I surf deviantART when I'm bored.
~The 40 Year Old Virgin, Anchorman, The Wedding Crashers, Talladega Nights and The Holy Grail will never get old.
~I have recently become obsessed with "Newsies" (it’s awesome, go rent it now!).
~I'm adamant with whitening my teeth. It's an illness.
~I INADVERTENTLY listen to other peoples' conversations in public places.
~The idea of cosmetic surgery scares me. Watching eye lifts and chin scupting makes my butt hurt. *shudder*
~I don't like reality television. But for some reason I still find myself watching "The Girls Next Door." They make me feel smart...
~Spamalot is my all time favorite play. You must see it!
~Avenue Q is a close second (the the first show I saw on Broadway in New York).
~I am petrified of clowns.
~I love writing "thank you" cards, as well as receiving them. I save them and marvel over how wonderful people are.
~I don’t drink.
~One serious pet peeve of mine is when people add me and then never say another word to me. No comments, no messages, no even the occasional hello. Have some courtesy folks. Why do you want to be my friend if you never want to talk to me? Not very logical if you ask me.
~I want a photo booth in my house, but only the kind that gives out strips of four pictures. They are uber cool.
~I think it's silly when people get tattoos that have no meaning behind them.
~New Favorite Movie: Across the Universe. If you didn't like it, don't add me. For if I find this out, I will begin a very heated argument defending the cinematic masterpiece. Trust me, I will win.
~I have never done drugs, and never will.
~I don’t sing in the shower. But I have been known to bust a move whilst traveling in my vehicle. I dance too. It's quite hilarious.
~My feel-good song is “Vanilla Ice Cream” by Stephen Lynch. I've seen him live twice. He is a comedic genius.
~I’m easily distracted. The fact that I have written this much bottles my mind (that's right bottles...go see Blades of Glory, then you'll understand).
~Kevin Smith is amazing.
~Guilty pleasure: Dancing to Britney and the Pussycat Dolls. Judge me all you want.
~The Mad Hatter is my favorite classic Disney character.
~I suck at video games and hate playing them but I love to watch other people play them. I like to refer to myself as a game voyeur. Except when it comes to Guitar Hero. I love that damn game. I will be purchasing the Aerosmith version when it is released.
~I like Prince.
~I don't understand why girls are malicious to other girls as a defense mechanism. If you don't like me, that's fine, it's your own personal choice, and I respect that. But please do not go behind my back and create drama to make yourself feel superior. I refuse to let myself fall into such destructive behavior.
~I talk during movies, but only about the movie. And not during the whole movie. Just here and there to comment briefly about the events on screen. And mainly about the symbolism that I recognize. It's still annoying, but at least it's relevant
~I like Justin Timberlake.
~I get along with everyone.
~I am very sarcastic.
~I refuse to see "The Notebook." Sappy lameness does not interest me, so stop recommending it.
~Pirates are tres cool.
~My brother is awesome, snotface.
~I would have never attempted modeling if it weren't for Dustin telling me I was beautiful(that's why he is my top friend, well that and he's my boyfriend and I love him) and Robert taking a shot on a novice to the business (2nd friend). Thanks fellas!
~I have an obsession with words. Go figure...
~I have two tattoos and they are beautiful. They both have very deep meanings to me and I love them more than anything else on my body. If you write to me saying "Oh its so horrible that you have besmirched your blessed temple and desecrated what God has given you" then expect me to delete you. I'm tired of hearing it. You obviously can't comprehend the fact that this is MY body and it is my right to stain my skin with the Devil's Ink if I damn well please. Have some respect, huh?
~I have Fred Flintstone feet and Keebler Elf hands. Just trust me on this one.
~I hate AIM... phnxfiresevn31 ...That's right, I'm a hypocrite.
~My favorite colors are black, white, Tiffany's blue and red.
~Skunks are my favorite animal, penguins are a close second and I'm really starting to like giraffes.
~I derive a sick pleasure from hockey fights.
~I don’t like the Lifetime, Oxygen or WE channels.
~I love doing laundry.
~I am computer illiterate. But I'm trying to learn.
~I love hair extensions. They make me feel special.
~I own all 10 seasons of FRIENDS and I can quote them all. It gets really old to the people around me, but you're in my house, I do what I want.
~I am terrible at accepting compliments.
~I love the History and Discovery channels.
~I take horrible candid photos. I usually end up looking like I should live under a bridge.
~I make the best chicken, seriously, I do.
~Drawing and painting relaxes me.
~I just got a Magic Bullet mixer!!! Seriously, the high point of my year.
~I wish I had more time to do yoga.
~I own one pair of shorts and they are from my Howl-O-Scream costume. I bought them at The Todd.
~I am a cautious (and by cautious, I mean bad) driver. I actually just got into my first wreck. But the blame is split between the two of us. So through cancellation, it didn't really happen.
~I hate gold and diamonds (and roses if you are keeping score).
~I don’t like spending money.
~I want a super power; I’m just not sure which one...
~I hate my curly hair and I always straighten it.
~I wish I knew Latin.
~Heather can always make me laugh.
~Chapstick=my heroin
~Glory to the Horde!! (No I do not play, this is glory by proxy). Oh, and I love Corp.
~I know most of the N*SYNC dances but I will not do them for you.
~I love to act.
~I talk to strangers when I’m waiting in line.
~Dancing is the greatest.
~Christian Bale and Jim Sturgess are the most beautiful Brits EVAR.
~My newest love is Robert Downey Jr. His comedic timing and delivery of lines just slays me.
~I miss "Are You Afraid of the Dark?," "The Roundhouse," "Salute Your Shorts," and "Hey, Dude." I watch them online when I am feeling nostalgic.
~Drunk people make me laugh, until I have to baby-sit them, then they aren't so funny. (I love you Alli, you know why.)
~I read Batman comics.
~I love each and every one of you who have read this far.
~I want to learn all about cars.
~I hate it when people litter.
~I’m a neat freak.
~I used to be a cheerleader, you will never find proof though. (You hush your mouth Jessica!)
~I love the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
~I’m very honest, but I avoid being serious at all costs.
~I don’t cry.
~Harmonicas are groovy.
~Dustin is the most awesome person I have ever met.
~I love the way peoples’ voices change when they talk to babies and puppies.
~I have horrible vision, but awesome hearing.
~I love writing term papers. Pay me, I'll do yours, too.
~Overly boisterous people in quiet environments agitate me. It's a library people, not a Bucs game. Shhhh!
~I’m a wicked bad procrastinator, but somehow I never miss a deadline.
~I don’t like to wear jewelry, my toe ring and plugs being the exceptions. Oh and my super cool Fender watch!!
~I despise Tom Cruise, the over zealous, couch-jumping, cradle robber.
~I love meeting and talking to new people.
~Dark Chocolate is my Kryptonite.
~I hate MTV.
~I don’t like showing weakness.
~I wish I were more like Amelie.
~My amazing boyfriend, Dustin, fills my heart with glee on a daily basis. He is by far the greatest thing to ever happen to me. My rock star, my Knight.
I’m pretty run of the mill if you didn’t already figure that out.
Anything else? Just ask. I'm pretty much an open book.

My Interests

These are just awesome little tidbits that have been given to me or that I found on the wondrous internet.

I'd like to meet:

I Would Love To Meet Everybody!
No, seriously,
if you actually took the time
to read all of my inane banter,
Add me.
The least I can do is say thank you via myspace messages.
I would also like to meet all the people mentioned in La Vie Bohem.

Music:

Just ask!

Movies:

Oh, I could go on for hours about the movies that I love.
That's like Sophie's choice.
I don't just watch movies to kill time.
If I put a movie in, I am going to watch it, closely.
The easiest way to show my taste is to do this:
Here's a list of movies that I love
In no particular order to give you an idea of my taste

And I'll add some newer movies that have caught my fancy:

I'll change this periodically when I remember to do so.

And These Movies Will Remain Here For All Eternity.

Two of my all time favorites. Epic.

Television:

I'm not a big television monger.
But I NEVER miss Lost.
I am unabashedly addicted to it.
You know those geeks that look up everything just to see if it has anything to do with the plot or the characters?
Welcome to my world.
Shocking, I know.
If I happen to be suffering from insomnia, as I am one to do, I will stop flipping if I see Conan, Miami Ink, Mythbusters, CSI (Vegas is the best), Fresh Prince or those really poorly produced info-mercials.

Books:

Anything that's written well.
If you really like something, tell me and I will probably pick it up.
Unless it's one of those overly descriptive romance (a.k.a porn) novellas.
I hate those, but you probably figured as much from the "written well" critera.
And just a fair warning,
I'm a Harry Potter nerd.
hXc Potter Fan, right here.

Heroes:

Batman and Iron Man. They live in a realm of super heroes that have actual powers built into their genetics or have been imparted to them through a chemical spill, science project gone awry or a rogue arachnid that infuses its abilities to the bitten. But yet these two men, despite their obvious flaws, make a name for themselves and are able to play with the big dogs using the tools that are readily available to their frail human forms: Intelligence, Passion, and Money. How could anyone NOT admire them. (Disregarding the fact that they may be antisocial or alcoholic.)
And now onto the real life people who inspire me...
Dustin
Words could never express how much this man means to me.
I owe him everything, and I love him more than I love English.
That's right, I said it.
Heather
My Betty, My Pheebs
What would I do without her...

Miss Lana Vanilla
My modeling buddy
And the woman who allows me to express my anger
Miss Stephanie Cross
Wonderful photographer and a true beauty
She makes working fun!
Zach, my brother
He doesn't care what people think of him
He is the poster child for black sheep, but in a good way.
Alli
Boy, has she put up with me for a loong time.
I love you Stubby!
Megs and Katy
They are fully responsible for my spastic side.
The wonderfully classy and beautiful
Audrey Hepburn.
She is definitely invited to my imaginary dinner.

Myspace Layouts

And my Aunt Cheryl, Aunt Nena and my Cousin Suzann of course. They are all a little off and growing up they made me realize how fun it is to be goofy and not cover who you really are.
This still holds true today.
I get weird looks when I sit on the floor in a public place or tell crazy animated stories as though I am acting out the actions. But I don't care because that's who I am and after the long search to find myself I'm not going to start denying it now.
Scoff all you want.
I'm getting more out of my life than you ever imagined.
