About Me

Myspace Backgrounds I need snowboarding buddies for the winter. Any takers?
************************************************************ ************************
Well, I am difficult to describe, because it seems like I don't even know myself sometimes.
I love music. Hip-hop, blues, jazz, punk, reggae, plus everything else. I fall in love with anything creative. I also get along best with people that think outside the box.
I have a hard time dealing with ignorant people.
I will be friendly with everyone until they step on my toes, then they will most likely get a taste of the Italian temper, which I have learned to control with time, thankfully.
I also hate talking about myself.
I am impatient, I procrastinate, and I daydream a lot.
I mean, I daydream all the time.
I even daydream about daydreaming.
I'm daydreaming right now.

My Interests

Watch your words;
they become actions.
Watch your actions;
they become habits.
Watch your habits;
they become character.
Watch your character;
it becomes your destiny.

I'd like to meet:

Those with hearts that spill over with passion.

Music:

So many hundreds to list here. . . Thankfully, I've met some of my favorites already. Here are some of my biggest musical and artistic inspirations: A Tribe Called Quest, Jungle Brothers, Common, BT, Tupac, Twista, Nas, Jay-Z, Biggie, Big L, 9th Wonder, Little Brother, The Foreign Exchange, Jazzy Jeff, Pete Rock, Dilated Peoples, Ferry Corsten, Armin Van Buuren, Atmosphere, Outkast, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Blackstar, Bob Marley, Brother Ali, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Muddy Waters, Billie Holiday, (Too many blues influences to list), The Invisible Skratch Piklz, Triple Threat, The Beat Junkies, Burning Autumn (R.I.P.), Crash Poet (R.I.P.), Shades of Fiction, Chevelle, Coldplay, Craig David, Musiq Soulchild, Anthony Hamilton, Dave Matthews Band, Unwritten Law, Sublime, John Digweed, Sasha, DJ ICEY! THE ROOTS! James Brown, Jamiroquai, Jane's Addiction, John Legend, Judge Jules, KANYE WEST! KoRn, Lagwagon, Lauryn Hill, Less Than Jake, Linkin Park, Mark Farina, Michael Jackson, Miri Ben Ari, Moby, NIN! O.A.R., Oasis, The Offspring, Otis Redding, Paul Johnson, Paul Van Dyk, Phish, Pink Floyd, The Prodigy, Rahzel, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Sevendust, Veroscene, THE SMASHING PUMPKINS! Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg (kinda), TORI AMOS! Wu-Tang, The Crystal Method, Nelly (haha, yeah right), and many many more. Rock, hip-hop, blues, jazz, metal, turntablism, house, jungle, trance, and some progressive. THERE IS SO MUCH MORE MUSIC THAN WHAT'S ON THE CRAPPY RADIO, PEOPLE!!! LISTEN TO WHAT YOU LIKE, NOT WHAT RECORD LABELS AND PROGRAMING DIRECTORS FORCE UPON YOU!

Movies:

Anything with good direction, editing, lighting, acting, writing, and enough fart jokes to keep my simple minded friends entertained. Ha!

Television:

X-games sports. Snowboarding, Skateboarding, aggressive inline, and BMX. Also, anything focused on art, music, or history.
I watch documentaries like they're going out of style. The History Channel, National Geographic ('cuz I like naked indiginous women with saggy boobs), Animal Channel, The Discovery Channel, and Lifetime (ha, j/k). . .

Books:

Lots to put in here, if I could only remember them. . .Dr. Hunter S. Thompson, Tim O'Brien, Michael Cricton, Norman Mailer, Carl Hiassen, Jack Kerouac, and many more. Not to mention classic thinkers like Aristotle, Plato, Churchill, Jefferson, Lincoln, and all those who had high albeit improbable hopes of greatness for this now disgustingly warped global community.

Heroes:

ANYONE WHO FIGHTS FOR INJUSTICE! Any regular human being who plays the superhero role. Anyone who gives everything they have just to show that one person can make a difference. Anyone who has ever beaten the fuck out of someone that had insulted them. Anyone and everyone who has ever loved and lost and still bounced back. To everyone who can't stop bobbing their head to the music ( even if they dislike the artist) because music is in their veins. And finally, to all those people who have ignored what everyone else wanted them to do (or told them they could not do) and followed their dreams: I envy and salute you. . .
