1048 West Kensington Road

About Me

"Andrew Reeves: 1048 West Kensington Road" was recorded during the summer of 2007 in Echo Park California. Using Lo-Fi recording equipment and a DIY ethic, I was able to capture the template for all of my future concept albums. "1048" is a ten song cycle that draws from many influences, but specifically Muddy Waters' blues, Bob Dylan's lyrics, Pink Floyd's concepts and Depeche Mode's beats. I started Reeves Records in 2005 as a completely independent record label. Operating outside the confines of traditional music channels, I create, promote, distribute and play music under my own terms without the hindrance of the music business.
