and now, with summer officially here and the temps this week nearing 100 (ugh) - i've been hit with a memory of a particular late summer night after a great concert (even with those crazy freaks from the opening band dancing with us through most of the show!), stopping at a convenience store on our way home and seeing *the* sign: "spring has sprung, fall has fell, summer is here and it's hotter than it used to be!" lol, why oh why did we find that so funny that we still tease each other with it all these years later?? :) well, this year i got you first! (love ya!)

yes, we realize all of these men are very handsome, but they're all equally talented in their respective fields. examples? johnny depp has the ability to *become* whatever character he's playing - little film or blockbuster. his acting ability is so amazing it's baffling. cristiano ronaldo may be the most gorgeous human ever to grace the planet, but have you ever watched his brilliant footwork on the pitch? we suspect magic is involved. ;) and alan smith has courage and tenacity to match his muscles... get the idea?

faves are all classics: jane eyre, wuthering heights, pride and prejudice. romantic poetry (keats, byron, shelley). everything ever uttered by oscar wilde. jack the ripper books. for true relaxation, i dig out my calvin & hobbes books. or edward gorey.
Heroes:
do i have heroes? i try not to idolize people (makes me feel insignificant), but maybe joel hodgson - the man is a genius.
