Taste of Pain presents…El Hijra 2007Taste of Pain is one of the Leading Arab Hip Hop acts since 2000, when it was co founded by Ibrahim (Mc sultan) and Aladin from the Arab town of Teera, Israel. After several years of mainly live shows and underground mixtapes they joined forces with Jewish Israeli Dj/producer Gidon Eli (Dj Dao) and formed the first Arab Israeli hip hop collaboration. After we astonished the audience (both local and from neighbor states) with the first radio and internet releases more and more fans are demanding new material and an official album from us. Last year we opened our own professional studio (Triangle productions) in Tel Aviv and came up with a strong concept for our debut album. “El Hijra”-the immigration. This is a story of a young generation confused by the temptations of the future and the restrictions of the past, a story of people willing to lead the way and ask the right questions. The immigration is not only the reality of millions of Muslims in Europe but also the spiritual journey of every man and woman living a hard life.
