Spending time with the kids, being self-sufficient and off the grid one day, getting attacked by my cat, hiking/camping(big one), admiring my awesome Tempo, being armed, and having some damn respect. Cooking is perhaps one of my favorite things to do. Reading about physics(possible favorite), evolution, society, and almost anything having to do with the origin of your Mom's stinky face. Martial arts, meditative states, admiring things nobody else seems to notice. The smell of air at high altitudes. Gardening, and getting sun-burned for it. Noticing how meaningful "random" things/events are.
Respectables, patriots, minimalists, farmers, people who don't talk just to talk, and people whe don't eat factory farmed animals.
Indiginous Polka Grindfunk.
Lots.
Discovery and History channels. That's about it. I don't get the History channel, but if I did, I would watch it if I had time. Television is an incredible waste of time. Firepits are rising up against it. Fire is better to watch. Although T.V., like many habits, does have it's place(when used VERY sparingly).
Kurt Vonnegut Jr., Louis Halle, Tom Robbins, Robert Silverburg, whole bunches, and I'm sorry, but I enjoy reading kids books with the wee ones. I'm always working on at least one book, so we'll see.
I don't really like people in general. I don't say that in a "hardcore" way. I lean more towards heroic actions and principles/values/ideals. So, the possibilities are endless.
