I own and operate Hired-Gunz Productions. We create and manage content and media for urban productions such as the world famous HOMIES®, California Sueños, and the up and coming "Los Muertos " cartoon lines. I am a graphic artist and web developer by trade but also a full time touring musician and producer/songwriter. Yeah, now you know why It's so hard to track me down to do a talkbox spot on your beat. I'm busy as hell, but I do appreciate all the love and I do try to make time to collaborate with the indie scene.
I am also a Crazy Vato (sike) and Electro funkologist. I like anything Robo, heavy and Thumpin. I play synth and vocoder for the Funk band Creeper and also play keys for R&B bands in So Cal. I write just about any style, from sappy ballads to oldschool funk to Metal. I have no preference, but I tend to get more work doing R&B/RAP. I am fluent in Guitar, Piano, B3, Rhodes, Drums ( acoustic & "midifinger"), Bass, Synth Bass, Moog, "keytar", lead Synths and jes, I do speak Spanish, Talkbox and Vocoder fluently.
Everything I produce is recorded at my home studio, even vocals, unless I'm contracted to work at someone's facility. I write and play all my parts (no samples). I use just about any program that can do what I need for that particular track, Cakewalk, Sonor, Cubase, Protools, whatever's available. My main flagship is kurzweil's Vast engine. I have a k2000 sampler and I recently added a kurzweil k2661. I use a POD 2.0 for guitar. I've had many forms of Talkboxes and Vocoders over the past 10 yrs, Korg DVP-1, SVC 350, Talker, Banshee, Heil, Robboxx, home made(1823m). I like to use different ones from time to time to create my own "voice" on different songs but still pay respect to the masters of it all.
