SILVAH

From Jonestown Arima Trinidad is Silvah. Conquering a variety of musical styles, Silvah astonishes audiences and listeners with his voice everywhere he goes. He has loved music since the tender age of 10. Seeing his favourite artists perform on stage and on television inspired him to explore the music world through his eyes. While growing up in Trinidad, silvah and local friends from his neighbourhood would lime together and sing all day long making up firery lyrics and nurturing their great talent. Some of his childhood friends have are also successful singers like the dynamic group 3Suns and members of the Godfathers Asylym. His debut single release was in 2005 with a track called ‘All I Ever’, collaborating with London's Soca/Calypso tent winner Helena B. This single is about a couple arguing over relationship issues. This track will have you pressing the repeat button on your cd player and is a sure hit.Silvah has a voice that can soothe listeners and he can be rough and ready at the same time. Some have compared him to the reigning Soca Monarch Champion Bunji Garlin. Though there is a slight similarity, Silvah has a distinctive style of his own. Silvah is now residing in London continuing his musical journey. He met Iron Fist Productions producer Kibwe 'Stylah' Thomas in 2002 and since then the duo have been collaborating and blazing the airwaves with jammers like,'Soca Fete', Wild Wild Ride and catchy 'Wine Dat so'. Silvah is a big name to look out for in the soca arena near you, on top form he never fails to disappoint listeners with his mass creativity.
