My interests are in the teachings of the ancient Celts and Druidism~the path of Druidry.~an earth based religion. I am deeply in touch with my supreme being God,Being a Christian Druid is NOT and oxymoron, but a blending of all that is me, and my ancestors, honoring my God, The All~The Great Spirit, God above all. I revere and respect my ancestors, my guardian angel Uriel, my spirit giude Sky Hawk, my totem animal the Wolf and the loving protection and direction of my dear grandmother Gayle Ann and my beloved anama cara Richard, dearly departed. I find great truth and joy in all of nature ,meditation , projecting of positive energies, reading of auras, blessed stones candle magic ,,blessed oils, ,the power of stones and crystals and being a true servant to our fellowman. I strive to be the best I can be, but fall short as we all do. I endeavor to approach the world in peace and light. We are all seekers of the Truth, and each must find their path to the divine light. Our source of being,>I enjoy exploring new things, whether it’s a concert, museum ,flea market or A walk I nature. Music is the passion and color in my life. I started singing my first solo in church at the tender age of five and have been singing ever since. I adore Celtic music…….but love music of all kinds, from country to heavy metal. It seems there is a song for everything in life and feelings, unable to be expressed in conversation, can be echoed from the music of our hearts
I like nothing better than to cuddle with a loved one and watch a good movie, anything from vampires to wizards. My favorite time period is Medieval times. Lord of the Rings is my most favorite. Bram Stokers Dracula is a classic, filled with raw emotion, sensuality and power. The Craft and Practical magic are movies I love watching again and again. The classic love story???? Wuthering Heights! My dream is to visit, England, Ireland and Wales someday~here are some beautiful pictures of the places I dream of.....
Working twelve hour shifts sometimes leaves little time for TV~ so I tape my favs~Greys Anatomy, Ghost Whisperer, Supernatural,90210,Raising the Bar, and I enjoy~Dancing With The Stars
My favorite modern author is Karen Marie Mouning , author of the Highland series and the darkly mysterious and erotic Fae series, which is being considered for a television series. Of course that is for entertainment. For study , my list is endless…….my first book, Darmoq recommended for me was Druid Magic…….my book shelves groan under the weight of my study material…. It seems I will never learn or remember it all. I am also teaching myself Irish, a slow process I assure you…lol
My heroes are the ones who affect others lives without glamor or glory, just for the true humanity of giving and making a difference. My heroes are those who battle physical and emotional disabilities-who manage to find peace and happiness in life I envy and also am ashamed I fear I could never possibly have, My heroes are those who keep us from harm, and keep us safe. The un-sung heroes, those whose monatery rewards are far below the incredible gifts They give to society.God bless you all.
