I'm glad I moved back to KY after being in NJ for 14 years; but I still miss walking down the block to the Atlantic Ocean. It's so amazingly endless; it's beautiful.
Life in Louisville is pretty cool, though. Living in the Highlands is immensely enjoyable; the atmosphere is liberal, progressive and kinda bohemian! I like rock-oriented music (including live local shows), and I even create some of my own using a loop program. I'm a pacifist, and I am compassionate, intense and artistic. Also, I have a neurotic, 28-pound cat named Zandar that I love very much; and, he loves me! My formal education is in experimental psychology and progressive, Christian theology. For my day job, I'm employed as an accessible test editor at The American Printing House for the Blind in the 'Ville.

Which Theologian Are You?
You scored as Paul Tillich. Paul Tillich sought to express Christian faith in an existentialist way. He defines sin, not as wrongful acts, but as alienation from God (the Ground of All Being). This loss of connection with God, in turn, leads to broken relationships with other beings. When we experience such brokenness, we are unable to find meaning in our existence.

My Interests

Interests/likes in haphazard order: computer graphics, rock art, rock-based music, sushi, black olives on pizza, my 28-pound cat named Zandar, liberal politics and liberal theology, Barack Obama, creating music on my computer, Tex-Mex food, dining out, Highland Coffee, Barnes & Noble, Starbucks, Lynn's Paradise Cafe, family get-togethers, Mellwood Arts & Entertainment Center, Home Planet, Bardstown Road, red wine, e-Bay, compassion, connection, serendipity, and the list goes on ....

I'd like to meet:

...people in the Louisville area.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Music:
Lotsa rock-based stuff including: AFI, Nine Inch Nails, My Chemical Romance, Panic! At the Disco, Linkin Park, Ryan Cabrera, Stereopath, The Fray, Nickelback, Green Day, The Jonas Brothers, Corbin Bleu, Death Cab For Cutie, Rob Thomas, The Beatles, The Monkees, The Merediths (my great new find in Louisville - saw them live!), VHS or Beta (also from Louisville!), Hardlein, pop, alternative, oldies, classic rock, pop/punk, metal. When I'm driving, I usually switch between three radio stations: WLUE.FM, LRS (or SFR) and RadioDisney!
Movies:
Create your own Movie List @ HotFreeLayouts!The Sixth Sense, An Inconvenient Truth, A Beautiful Mind, Mass Appeal, the original Stepford Wives, The Birds, Days of Wine and Roses, I Am Sam, That Thing You Do!, The Boost, The Doors, The Rose, Mississippi Burning, Lord of the Flies (both versions), American History X, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Less Than Zero, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, The Devil Wears Prada, The Exorcism of Emily Rose.
Television:
In the morning, I switch on the Channel 41 news and traffic report while I prepare for work. When I get home, I'm looking to wind down with something mindless :::sigh, blush::: Okay, I admit I watch Judge Judy. (Now that my guilty pleasure is out . . .) Anyhoo, after my Judge Judy fix, I watch Everyboby Loves Raymond. (Love the references to Jersey.) But, House, MD is my most favorite show. And, as a matter of fact, it also mentions New Jersey a lot. Then, of course, I can't leave out my episodic dose of The Simpsons.
Believe it or not, I also really enjoy some commercials, too. (Hey, I have a short attention span, what can I say?) Right now, I am into that Subway commercial where the couple comes in to order, and the counter person says: "Help you?" Then they launch into their digusting orders for "a large jelly belly with a paunch" and "saddlebags with cottage cheese thighs." Then the counter person offers to "supersize" the orders by asking things like, "Extra flabby?" ...to which they eagerly agree. It's a revolting idea, but I think that IS the idea! (In order to drive the point home.) And what makes the commercial great and memorable is that the charcters are all so real, and the couple is so SINCERE! [Stay tuned to this spot! :-) I will periodically change it with new commercial critiques.]
