Who I am: As it concerns this MySpace site, I'm a musician who plays drums and sings a little.
What I'm doing now: Smackin' some ’50s-’60s rock with Bill Holden, and raisin' it up every Thursday night with the crew at Phil Ball's Odyssey Church in Jenks.
Surf's up, mutha ... (shut yo' mouth!) ... I'm just talkin' 'bout Surf : My ultra-talented son Cal and a couple of his ultra-talented friends, Trent and Tony, asked me to be in their surf-rock band, The Bends. Our first gig was the Guitar Center Memorial Day sale. Hopefully, more to come. It's cool to feel like you're the band in a Quentin Tarantino film.
Career highlight: Being in a band with my ultra-talented son Cal ... and drumming for rockabilly queen Wanda Jackson.
