Prime Time started in the city of Reno in 2006. The band was formed by Dan "yo" McKee, Andy Kumar and Edward Kumar. It started out as just having jam sessions in the basement. They currently are playing as the house band for the Reno Jazz Club, where they can be seen every thursday night. During the course of several weeks, Prime Time had various friends play with them at shows.
