About Me

MyGen Profile Generator ...So i said farewell to the sunburnt rocks and golden soil of my home, to traverse Earth and her fine tapestry. Thousands of nomadic footsteps later i discovered a queer little town in a strange green land, a surreal menagerie of seagulls mammoth and merry-go-rounds, set against a Maharashan backdrop. It was here that i captured a violinist and guitarist apon the quick realization that they might aid the escape from my musical Hades and the perpetual orchestra in my head, and that i might surface with the scarab and bring to fruition songs written but unsung with the dawning of a new day. As is her way, the tides released and withdrew. Shells remained as creatures made their way back to ride life's waves. However, for the patient beach combers the treasure is unveiled, in this tale in the form of two more gems. Bassist and drummer magically melted in, the final links, and alchemy takes place turning five into one. So i'm still travelling, but this time i'm meandering through a musical landscape, and this time i have travel companions. North meets south, red meets green. Our music is a fusion of worlds, a desert scene laced with exotic, flowering vines where interwoven melodies form the general soundscape, emphasizing dynamic range and the scope of sound. A classical gypsy violin is mournful yet hopeful, striving to touch on a vision of intertwined beauty. Thoughtful past thinking. Flowing hooks and percussive progression from the guitar glue together the rythmn section and the rest of the band, melting into the creative force and driving on all six strings. Bass is groovy and grounded in an appreciation for mood and movement. It builds the base of the song with continuo and jazz styles, and creates with the drums a rock for the band to sit on. The drums are technically inspired and fused into a groove. Space and shape are created to the tapestry of each song, defining the verocity and calm before the next powerful wave of controlled intensity. Flowing tensions and harmonies from the piano gracefully move through to moments of power and passion. Landscapes of beauty and despair painted through chord and discord, often with a lingering hint of blue. Softly supple vocals suggest one foot in the dark but a face whispering to the light. Each soft and husky note floating on the vibrant scenes of Gaia.

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: This country is now fortunate enough to experience one of Australia's most talented exports, bringing sunshine into our grey, weather-challenged lives. Forming just last November 06 after countless song writing projects that were previously lacking a true oneness between its core elements. Songs are now a plenty due to divine inspiration 'Cat', (Vocals & Piano), the unique, galactic sound created by this band of modern day gypsies is due to their exciting, and unconventional line-up. Violins, Harmonies and Positive Vibes from 'Sixsmith' (and the best selection of old hats), psychedelic, blues tones from the six string wonder 'Eddie' and a heart jumping, beat thumping, mesmerizing rhythm section of 'Andy' (lowfreqleftie) on bass and the graceful stick wizard 'Luke' on Drums and percussion. The tunes, epic yet ambient at points take you away to a place where you may feel like a dance, a walk in the country or a relaxing, 'do nothing' period we should all treat ourselves to. Live, they are an awesome force proving they are all competent and confident musicians feeding off the prize of playing music with one another. End of Chapter One....
