Can you sing or play an instrument, and are located in the NW Indiana area? Our band is looking for local music talent to work with for our next project. Although we have our roots in classic rock, we are looking to expand our possibilities, and are open to all styles of music. (Well….maybe not polkas)
Over the summer, we will be holding open jam sessions every Saturday night in our Gary Indiana digital recording studio. Anyone interested in participating on one of these nights, please sent us an email, telling us a little about your talents and interests, at
[email protected].
All serious inquiries will receive a prompt response.

Jerry & Knight at WoodsThis page is a tribute to the collective creative efforts of the Knight at Woods band, which was founded in Hammond Indiana in 1999, by the drummer Greg Woods, lead guitarist Tony Fenyves, and bassist Chris Knight. A couple of weeks later, Jerry Harness, who had played with Greg in a previous band, sat in for Chris Knight on Bass; and the following week Chris became the band’s lead singer/keyboardist and Jerry became a permanent member of the group, as bass guitarist and sound engineer.
In 2001, Greg moved to a home in Gary Indiana, and converted the detached garage into a first class recording studio; in which the band began a weekly series of recording sessions. In 2001, the band was joined by Gary Steczo, who also played lead guitar; and in April of 2001, the band recorded their first album 'The Tempest', which was literally recorded in one take. Chris Night was responsible for the analog to digital conversion, and produced the bands first complete CD. Although, the band only recorded a few more months together, they accumulated hundreds of recordings; and shortly after created the album, 'Off the Cuff', which consisted entirely of adlibbed songs, recorded in open jam sessions; converted and compiled by Jerry Harness.
At this point Chris still lives and works in Hammond with his wife and kids; Jerry lives in the Greg’s Gary home, taking his third year of college; and Tony owns the highly acclaimed Italian restaurant “Anthony’s Café†(mama mia itsa good!) in Highland Indiana. Although Greg has been working for his company the last 5 years in Colorado; he is final coming back to Gary where he (and his drums) belongs! Gary now interns at Chicago Actors Studio, 2040 N. Elston Chicago, IL., and has taken on the name La-Gar (the Golden La-Gar). Stopping for a quick word, Gary says, “No longer driving Limo's around Chicago land, But extends all to audit a class for free at the studio (Monday, Wednesday Thursday at 7:30pm till 10:30pm or Saturday 1:00pm till 4:30pm). Just give us a call at 773-645-0222 and let us know you'll be stoppin through! Also, one may have a chance to see me sit in with Little Johnny & the Unknown Blues Band wherever Johnny may be playing.â€
