When Lorenz Schaller was 8 years old, he started taking piano lessons. With 13, he started playing in bands. With 17 he was the bandleader of a popband. With 19, he took jazzclasses at the Swiss Jazz School in Bern / Sitzerland. When he was 20, he played in different band and choir projects, CD productions, and worked as a piano teacher. He started studying at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Zurich when he was 24 and gratuated from that 5 year, full-time school in February 2003.
Lorenz works now as a producer, arranger, music teacher, and musician in different jazz, funk, soul, and pop bands. He is also a bandcoach of 3 bands.
