About Me

*The tracks on this site were recorded live at different venues in and around Long Beach. More live tracks and some studio recordings to come soon.
A short time ago S.O.B.was merely 2 brothers. A project with potential that consisted of a few drunken sessions and many nights of jamming out with an acoustic guitar. Now 5 members deep, S.O.B. as you know it now blends reggae, dub and roots with some rock and punk shit to mix it up, playing many original tracks as well as tributes to the originators of the genre. The S.O.B.'s been playing live shows in and around the LBC for some time now, and is set to expand the operation and will begin recording an album sometime in the coming months. The lineup has been ever evolving, but is now more solid than ever. Frank on the bass and Steven on the drum kit create the foundation for the smooth reggae vibes. Mike gets it going on lead vocals with some sick melodies. Chris does the honors on guitar and brings a ruff n tuff stylee to the mic that creates a contrast for a balanced dynamic sound. Jeremy, mashin it up on the keyboards and switching it up on guitar, comes with the sound that brings it all together. S.O.B. continues to jam and create music for the IRIE nation and anyone who is open-minded enough to embrace positive independent music.
Big ups to Angel Gallegos for the sick photography at the Vault and after.
