I am here for Friends

About Me

I am a first time myspace user, a stay-at-home mom/sometime teacher. This is both my first contact with an internet community and my son is participating with me as well. How did we find our way to myspace? Thanks to my daughter, who introduced her family to a classic television series and it's movie sequel, respectively Firefly and Serenity. And during our curious google searches we came across Nathan Fillion's myspace page, and eventually his blogs and the blogs of other famous and not quite as famous, fascinating people.So...thanks to Nathan Fillion too, for getting us behind the scenes this way, and helping this Mom (a person too, after all) to get over her hesitation and participate in this internet experiment.

My Interests

Books, Movies, Writing, Education, Kids, Ideas (and here's one that's five hundred years old, but new to me): AUTHOR: Fra Giovanni Giocondo (c.1435–1515) QUOTATION: No peace lies in the future which is not hidden in this present little instant. Take peace! The gloom of the world is but a shadow. Behind it, yet within our reach, is joy. There is radiance and glory in the darkness, could we but see; and to see, we have only to look.
