Cool Man Cool

Cool Man Cool is a band composed of Josh Cook, Craig Alexander, Alex Piech (Lex), and Zac Forbes (Z-Forbes). All members have been playing together for different periods of time, but they are all currently attending school at York University. Three of them are studying Music at York (Josh, Lex and Z-Forbes), where Craig and Josh are often seen playing acoustic nights around campus. They feel they don't fit into any specific genre, but Funk/Rock is a strong influence towards their music. Craig and Josh started playing together in their first year of high school, and quickly formed a band called Concrete Vinyl. This band won the battle of the bands for the Kawarthas, giving them studio time to create their first CD. In their first year of university they were introduced to drummer Zac Forbes, but had much difficulty finding a guitarist that could see the artistic views of the three friends. In their second year of university, while at a friend’s house party, they were introduced to their newest band member and guitarist, Lex. These four talented musicians were creating original songs within two days after having met one another. Since then, there has been a consistent flow of originality produced by the band, and these young entertainers will continue to produce creative music for as long as there is music to be heard.MyGen Profile Generator
