About Me

First of all, IM me on Yahoo on hwrsoao and keep me awake at work!! Alright I'll do this for real now. Born in Ohio, raised between Central Iowa and a little Mississippi River town in Illinois, I graduated from Lebanon HS. From there I went to University of Indianapolis where I was on the swim team, the newspaper, an Ambassador for the Office of Admissions and involved in FCA. I used my experience in admissions to become an Admissions Counselor at Indiana State University. I was there from 2000-2002 and headed to Eastern IL U to get my Masters in College Student Affairs, where I was also Graduate Assistant Swim Coach. Bounced around a bit after that, but seem to have found a home at ITT Tech in online admissions.

My Interests

road trips, concerts, sports anything from baseball, basketball, football, volleyball (AVP), tennis, lacrosse and I'm a total Olympic junkie, Summer of course, winter is merely a games, not an Olympics, poker, everything from Texas Hold Em to Omaha to 7 Card Stud to Razz. Pinball Machines. Bookstores.

Tony Bennent, Brian Urlacher, anyone from the 85 Bears, Lauren Graham, Jon Stewart, Woody Paige, Bob Barker, Bill Murray.

Music:

Hmm, I have about 1,600 CDs and been to about 150 concerts, so we'll limit this to people I have multiple CD's or concerts, after the Top 5, no particular order. Sheryl Crow, Tony Bennent, Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons, John David Webster, ESP (www.esprocks.com), Gin Blossoms, Avril Lavigne, DMX, Dr. Dre, Eminem, 50 Cent, Billy Joel, Elton John, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Spin Doctors, No Doubt, Collective Soul, Sarah McLachlan, Michelle Branch, Lindsay Lohan, Duran Duran, Lisa Loeb, AC/DC, Eagles, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Better Than Ezra Hanson, Shania Twain, Kenny Rogers, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Christina Aguilera, Moody Blues, Paul Simon, Turtles, Beach Boys, Herman's Hermits, Monkees, Association and hmm, I'll keep adding to this as I go.

Movies:

Anything comedy, especially Naked Gun movies, Hot Shots, Loaded Weapon, etc. Anything with Meg Ryan, Drew Barrymore or Jennifer Love Hewitt. Chasing Amy, Good Will Hunting, As Good as It Gets. Anything with Jack Nicholson, Al Pacino or Robert Deniro.

Television:

The only must watch shows are Monday Night Raw and ECW, Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars. Have to catch my Cubs, Bears, Bulls and Hawkeyes. Semi-required viewing is Daily Show, Tonight Show, the Class. Let's see on DVD, Mary Tyler Moore Show, Cheers, Arrested Development, Simpsons, Family Guy, Titus, Frasier, King of Queens, Married With Children, Seinfeld, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Dark Angel, Joan of Arcadia, Monk, NYPD Blue.

Books:

Mainly sports bios and history (Civil and Revolutionary Wars mainly) stuff, love Dave Barry and Dilbert as well. Lately, John McEnroe's bio, Terry Bradshaw's bio, Platoon, Summer of 98 by Mike Lupica.

Heroes:

People who can show a long term commitment in their lives, I know I'm still working on it.
