About Me

My life revolves around 3 things: music, killing off my brain in the pub and music. My friends are alright aswell I suppose but they never sing to me or buy me a pint. I live in a crap excuse for a town and work in a crap excuse for a hotel, so can you blame me for spending all my wages on records and weed? I work nights (10pm-8am) so I sleep in the day more than I do at night. When I'm not working I'm in the back of the Tavern or at home making electronic music.

My Interests

Making music, cult comedy/film, Jack Daniel's, one day going to Japan then maybe one day going into space for a quick look around.

I'd like to meet:

Chris Morris, but what do you say to someone who deviously exploits the sore points of social reality with such ease? If I met him he'd probably secretly film me and edit it to make it look like I was a paedophile.

Music:

If it ain't gangsta rap, country or glitzy pop, I'll probably give it a go. Mostly Indie/Alternative rock, IDM, Trip Hop (yes that is a genre), drum n bass and dub. Bands/artists of the moment are... Gnarls Barkley, Wolfmother, Amy Winehouse, The Young Knives, Squarepusher, Plone, Ratatat, Green Day (the old, ooold stuff please), Soundmurderer, DJ Shadow, Album Leaf, Dead Kennedys... All-time favourites are... Mr Bungle, Aphex Twin, Antipop Consortium, Venetian Snares, the Offspring, Tool, MF Doom.

Movies:

Cult cinema, preferably Japanese/Korean... Oldboy, Ichi The Killer, House Of Flying Daggers... british comedy like Shaun Of The Dead... and anything else with the zombies.

Television:

Curb Your Enthusiasm, BrassEye, The Day Today, Nathan Barley, Mighty Boosh, Black Books, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, Spaced, Adam And Joe Show... You get the picture... right?

Books:

The best book ever written: On the Road (Jack Kerouac). Other good ones are... Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas (Hunter S. Thompson), Grass (Phil Sparrowhawk), The Catcher In The Rye (J. D. Salinger) and anything by Edgar Allan Poe.

Heroes:

My uncle, Simon, to whom I owe everything as he tought me more than my parents ever could. Probably because my parents wouldn't go out drinking and smoking with me, and that's where all the best conversations take place.

My Blog

Nagsworth EP now available

That's right boys and girls, the Nagsworth EP is now available. If anyone is stupid enough to take a chance on music they've never heard before and will most probably hate, then send me an email or so...
