I've always wanted to meet Kofi Annan, for obvious reasons. But recently, Ive been wanting to meet Angelina Jolie. It must be fascinating to know what prompted her to completely turn her life around and change from one person to another. It makes me think of her as a true testament to human strength, dignity and nature. That people can still listen to the call of humanity, even if she lives in a world as anesthetized as Hollywood.
My musical taste is eclectic at best, downright weird at worst. I'm into Bach/Classical, Classical Pop (Josh Groban, Russell Watson, Charlotte Church) JPop (Utada Hikaru, Ayumi Hamasaki, Hirahara Ayaka, Mika Nakashima, Hirai Ken etc.) KPop (BoA, Eugene, S, Fly to the Sky), Cantopop (Edison Chen, Shawn Yue, Kelly Chen) Taiwanpop (SHE) Filipino ballads and romantic songs, R&B club music, French boudoir, French rap, Italian ballads, romantic movie soundtracks and Pussy Cat Dolls (Hell yeah!)
Everything, Filipino movies, Hollywood, Asian, European, Art films. As long as its not those hard porn films with no story line. My current favorites are: Man of the Year (fave line: politicians and diapers should be changed frequently and for the same reason), Transformers (freaking funny), Harry Potter, Fast and the Furious, Tokyo Drift, Cinema Paradiso, Malena, The Mission, The Way Home, Finding Neverland, Series of Unfortunate Events, Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi (Spirited Away), Taegukgi (Brotherhood), Match Point, You've got Mail and Final Fantasy; Advent Children (for sheer visual splendor)
QUEER EYE FOR THE STRAIGHT GUY!!!!! Sex and the City, Ally Mcbeal, Friends, Will and Grace, Ellen, Project Runway 2, Heroes, The 4400, Ugly Betty, Korean dramas for cheap thrills
Harry Potter Series, Eleven Minutes, The Alchemist, Memoirs of a Geisha (makes me re-live Kyoto in my mind!) The Dogs of Babel, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, The Velveteen Rabbit, The Autumn Bridge, Les Miserables, The Little Princess. I like most Children's Books too, especially "Isang Dosenang Sapatos" (A dozen shoes). I dont like self-help books that much, i prefer imaginative writing (although i did enjoy "Who Moved My Cheese")and Japanese Manga
