So post-it-notes...They are the bane of my existance (well, okay, working at Borders is actually the bane of my existance, but...) If you saw my office you'd understand. They're everywhere. I'm excellent at organization, just not really when it comes to myself. I can help anyone clear the clutter from their life, but don't go into our spare bedroom...We're still in Orlando, still happy together :) We have pushed the date of the wedding back...to, well, no date. We want to be able to pay for the wedding on our own, so it is going to take us a while longer than we first thought. I'm still cutting out magazine pictures and looking for wedding stuff tho.I still make jewelry, have gotten into scrapbooking and have all the elements for getting into paper-making as well, but have not yet begun that one. I sort of feel that I've lost a lot of creativity over the time that I haven't been with the renaissance faires tho, so it's hard for me to do some of those things now.As of late August 2008, I am now the Full-Time Jewelry Designer for Michaels here in Winter Park. It is a brand new position and I'll be letting everyone know a little bit more about it as I find out more. Our store will be a test store for a jewelry idea for Michaels. The same day I applied for that job I also went to another place called "My Art Studio". After goign back again and speaking with the owner, I will now be working with them as well to begin beading classes for kids and even perhaps adults within their studio. More as things develop!
