Poetic Rock's Bio:My name is Poetic Rock. I was born in Belflower,California. But it was in Compton, California were I fell in love with music, not just hip-hop but music. My older brother use to deejay and mix tapes for the neighborhood. We use to get underground tapes from legends, such as Mix Master Spades (RIP), deejay Train and others.We all was raised in the church, where we were force to sing. My dad and uncles formed a gospel group called the Silver Tones and they recorded a record.My mom and dad split up and we ended up moving to Atlanta, Georgia, were I began to experiment with music. I use to listen to Eric B and Rakim, L.L Cool J, EPMD but when I saw Eazy-E (RIP) on the album cover, I knew I wanted to rap because he was from my neighborhood. I started going to the studio and writing my own rhymes when I was 14 years old. While attending Booker T. Washington I was able to make a name for myself as the guy who can freestyle. In addition, I was also part of the school band which later broaden my ability to produce music. I've worked with many people and in many different studios for years. I went from writing raps to writing songs, and from making beats to producing music. The substance and value of music I believe has became benign, which leads to me say that I am here to give the music world what it's been lacking. I'm here to put back the substance, excitement, credibility and fulfillment music as been lacking all these years. I know the world has been waiting for me and so I’m ready to share my musical talent with the world. You may wonder why my name is Poetic Rock, well it's because my raps are like poetry when I’m Rocking mic.
