i was raised a member of the ancient family of Black, a pack of insufferable pureblood wizards who thought they were better than the rest of wizardkind. upon my entrance to hogwards school of wizardry i met james potter, remus lupin and peter pettigew, and we four became the Marauders of the school, (mssrs wormtail, mooney, padfoot and prongs). however after we graduated, james married lily evans, and they asked me to be the secret keeper for their fidelius charm, to hide them from voldemort. i passed on this role to peter pettigrew, who betrayed them to lord voldemort and caused their death. the only surviving member of their family was harry potter, my godson. i was locked away in the wizards prison, azkaban, for 14 years without a trial because the wizarding world thought i had killed my best friend. the knowledge that i was innocent kept me sane and eventually i snuck out, and met up with harry potter, who thought i had murdered his parents. remus and i showed him the truth, but i am still in hiding as the authorities of the wizard world refuse to believe i am innocent. more recently, i became active in the order of the phoenix, and battled my cousin bellatrix. there's nothing to do here behind the veil so i spend all my time on friendster.
