Founded in 2000 by dance floor and electronica music fanatics Mathieu Arsenault (aka The Autist) and Ian Jeffrey, Tistik is not just another event production company. Organizing three to four events a year, favoring quality over quantity, Tistik has a strong reputation for high quality festive events. Having been voted in the top three event producers in Montreal by readers of the Montreal Mirror, Tistik events are always unique. Now aided by Rémi Bergeron (aka Véga), one can always expect a pleasant surprise at Tistik whether it be in their choice of DJs or venues.Tired of the same old recipe, Tistik was founded to offer Montreal electronic music fans something they had never seen or heard. Tistik would bring to Montreal intelligent music that doesn’t equate to low-key energy and atmosphere; rather, Tistik would offer smart, engaging and uplifting music resulting in a highly energetic event where anything goes. Always in search of unique locations and great visuals, Tistik events are all about the minor details of what makes its fans have a good time. When one walks into a Tistik event, the uniqueness of the party is quickly understood.Among others, Tistik has seen the likes of many local and internationally renowned DJs such as Champion, Ben Parris, Mazi, Pheek, Eloi Brunelle, Leo Cruz, Maüs, Mark Dillon, Romeo Kardec, Creator and of course tons more. Having held events all over the city including at Montreal’s legendary afterhour club SONA, and participated in the internationally acclaimed Berlin Loveparade, Tistik has time and time again proven its professionalism and passion for electronic music.
