I don't pretend to be someone I'm not. I will listen even I don't agree, but I will voice my side and tell ya if I have a different opinion. I have 2 sons the youngest 18 and the oldest 22. My diagnosis for Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome was finally confirmed May 2006, by a physician at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. My goal in life now is to get awareness out there to the community and physicians. Do I have the energy, when I put in 32 hrs a week at my job. No, but I do have the determination. I wasn't the first nor will I be the last, to be misdiagnosed or to be labeled when I was so sick. People with POTS have gone years before being correctly diagnosed and nobody should have to go through with that. I don't wish the illness on anybody, and I do know that there are other people with a worse illness than I have. But, believe me just hoping when I stand up I don't pass out and if I could just have the energy to go for along walk. Or better yet, if I could take a walk alone without possible passing out.
